Lancaster Buggy Crash Critically Injures Two Teens
A serious crash between a horse and buggy and a motor vehicle occurred around 5:15 p.m. on July 30 in Colerain Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Police reported that the vehicle struck the buggy after it pulled onto Bell Road, critically injuring the 19-year-old male operator, who was airlifted to Hershey Medical Center. A 19-year-old female passenger was also hospitalized, while a two-year-old passenger and the vehicle's driver were unharmed. Emergency response included multiple EMS units and a medical helicopter, and the roadway was closed for several hours. The Pennsylvania State Police are continuing to investigate the incident. The current condition of the injured teens remains unknown.
