Sterling Withdraws from UFC 307 Due to Injury
Former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling has withdrawn from his UFC 307 featherweight bout against Movsar Evloev due to an injury sustained during sparring. Sterling announced the withdrawal on his social media and YouTube channel, explaining that while the injury does not require surgery, he was advised by the UFC medical staff to pull out of the fight to allow proper recovery. Sterling expressed his desire to reschedule the bout against Evloev for December. UFC 307, scheduled for October 5 in Salt Lake City, Utah, will still feature notable title fights including light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira defending against Khalil Roundtree Jr. and women's bantamweight champion Raquel Pennington facing former champion Juliana Peña.
