Kraken head coach Dave Hakstol described it as one of the greatest sporting events he’s been involved in, and Daccord was celebrated by fans in recognition of his performance. The game was a festival-like celebration of ice hockey, attended by more than 47,000 fans, with the Kraken's victory marking their ninth consecutive game with points. The Golden Knights, in contrast, struggled and lost the expected goals battle.
