Seattle Kraken Win NHL Winter Classic 3-0

The Seattle Kraken defeated the Las Vegas Golden Knights 3-0 in the NHL's Winter Classic at T-Mobile Park. Joey Daccord made 35 saves to earn the shutout, while Eeli Tolvanen and Yanni Gourde each scored a goal. Kraken head coach Dave Hakstol described it as one of the greatest sporting events he’s been involved in, and Daccord was celebrated by fans in recognition of his performance. The game was a festival-like celebration of ice hockey, attended by more than 47,000 fans, with the Kraken's victory marking their ninth consecutive game with points. The Golden Knights, in contrast, struggled and lost the expected goals battle.
