Framer Raises $100M Series D at $2B Valuation

Amsterdam-based Framer, a no-code website design platform, has raised $100 million in a Series D funding round led by existing investors Meritech Capital Partners and Atomico, with participation from Accel and others, bringing its valuation to $2 billion. Founded in 2014 by Koen Bok and Jorn van Dijk, Framer evolved from a prototyping tool into a comprehensive platform that enables teams to build, publish, and manage high-performance websites without coding. The platform serves hundreds of thousands of active sites, including clients like Scale AI, Perplexity, Miro, and Bilt, and is widely adopted by startups, with 40% of the latest Y Combinator batch launching their sites on Framer. Framer’s features include a flexible design canvas, built-in CMS, on-page editing, analytics, A/B testing, and enterprise security, making it a preferred choice for startups, scaleups, freelancers, agencies, and enterprise teams. The company has surpassed $50 million in annual recurring revenue and anticipates doubling this figure by 2026, with its fastest growth coming from enterprise adoption since introducing business plans last year. The new funding will be used to accelerate U.S. expansion, deepen AI investments, and scale both product development and go-to-market efforts.
