In-N-Out Drops to Fourth in USA Today Fast Food Burger Poll

In-N-Out Burger's signature Double-Double slipped two places to number four on USA Today's list of best fast food burgers, ranking behind Habit Burger & Grill, A&W, and Jack in the Box. Habit Burger & Grill retained the top spot with its popular Double Char burger, while A&W and Jack in the Box were recognized for their Papa Burger and Jumbo Jack Cheeseburger, respectively. Culver's made the top five with its double ButterBurger with cheese, and Shake Shack rose to seventh place with its ShakeBurger. Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers entered the list at number eight, and Burger King held ninth place with its Whopper despite a slight sales decline. Whataburger rounded out the top ten with its Double Meat Whataburger, noted for using never-frozen meat. The ranking changes coincide with industry adjustments, including Jack in the Box's plans to close numerous locations and In-N-Out’s controversial decision to move its headquarters to Tennessee under CEO Lynsi Snyder.
