The Cabot Collection has expanded its luxury golf resort portfolio with the acquisition of Golf du Médoc Resort in Bordeaux, France, now rebranded as Cabot Bordeaux. This marks Cabot's first property in continental Europe, featuring two acclaimed 18-hole golf courses designed by renowned architects Bill Coore and Rod Whitman, alongside a 79-room hotel and a world-class spa. CEO Ben Cowan-Dewar highlighted Bordeaux's rich culinary and wine culture, aiming to enhance tourism in the area. The resort is set on 400 acres amidst vineyards, promising a blend of golf and cultural experiences. This acquisition adds to Cabot's growing international presence, which includes properties in Canada, the Caribbean, and Scotland. The company anticipates that the resort will attract both golf enthusiasts and travelers looking to explore the iconic wine region.
