24-Year-Old Man in Serious Condition After Urbana Shooting; Suspects at Large

A 24-year-old man was seriously injured in a shooting Monday afternoon in Urbana, Illinois. Police responded to the 1300 block of Dublin Street around 12:35 p.m. and found the victim inside a residence with multiple gunshot wounds; investigators believe he was shot outside before entering the house. Video surveillance showed two unidentified males fleeing the scene on foot, heading south on Romine Street. No other individuals inside the residence were injured, and no arrests have been made so far. The Urbana Police Department is conducting an active investigation with assistance from the University of Illinois Police Department, Champaign County Sheriff's Office, and Illinois State Police.
