WWE SummerSlam To Feature Theater, Major Matches

WWE has partnered with Fandango to bring Premium Live Events to movie theaters nationwide, launching with the first-ever two-night SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium on August 2 and 3, 2025. Regal Cinemas is the anchor exhibitor, and more theater chains may join for future events. Fans can buy single-night or bundle tickets, with the bundle including an exclusive SummerSlam t-shirt. The SummerSlam card will feature major matches, including John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship and CM Punk vs. Gunther for the World Heavyweight title. This collaboration aims to create an immersive, ringside-like experience for fans in theaters. For those not attending in cinemas, SummerSlam will stream live on Peacock in the U.S. and Netflix internationally.
