Jonathan Ross Cancels Celebrity Halloween Parties

Jonathan Ross has cancelled his long-running, star-studded Halloween parties, saying the events grew unmanageable and expensive. He revealed the decision on a bonus episode of The Traitors: Uncloaked after leaving as the show's first Traitor, saying he only genuinely knew about 30% of the adult guests. Ross cited the parties' profile and family concerns — including his daughter Betty's battle with fibromyalgia — as additional reasons for calling them off. He said he bore no hard feelings toward fellow contestants Alan Carr and Cat Burns, who helped unmask him, and mentioned acquaintances such as Joe Marler who had attended past parties. Despite cancelling the big bash, Ross kept a smaller tradition by dressing in costume and handing out sweets outside his north London home and said he "might do another one before I go."
