On Sunday, Pakistan faced two tragic bus crashes resulting in at least 42 deaths and numerous injuries. The first accident involved a bus carrying Shiite pilgrims from Iraq through Iran, which lost control due to brake failure in Baluchistan, killing at least 12 and injuring 32. In the second incident, a bus traveling from Haveli Kahuta to Rawalpindi fell into a ravine in Punjab, killing at least 23. Separately, a bus accident in Nepal involving Indian pilgrims from Maharashtra left 27 dead and 16 injured. The Indian Air Force (IAF) swiftly responded by airlifting the mortal remains to Jalgaon, Maharashtra, and conducting rescue operations for the injured. Both Pakistani and Indian officials have expressed deep condolences and are providing necessary support to the victims and their families.
