Woman Arrested for Armed Dollar General Robbery Gulfport, Returns for Dropped Phone

Jessinya Faye Ezell, a 34-year-old woman from Gulfport, Mississippi, was arrested for armed robbery after she allegedly entered a Dollar General with a firearm, demanded money, and got into a fight with an employee before fleeing with cash. The robbery occurred at around 9:30 p.m. on May 11. While police were still investigating the scene, Ezell returned to the store to look for a cellphone she had dropped during the robbery, leading to her immediate arrest. She was taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and is being held on a $100,000 bond. The incident drew attention due to the unusual circumstance of the suspect returning to the crime scene during an active investigation. Authorities have not disclosed the exact amount of money stolen.
