Live Nation Plans 4,400-Capacity Nashville Venue The Truth by 2026

Live Nation is set to open a new 4,400-capacity indoor music venue called The Truth in Nashville's Wedgewood Houston neighborhood in fall 2026. Designed by Live Nation's Blueprint Studio, The Truth features a flexible three-level floor plan accommodating both standing and seated shows, aimed at hosting a wide range of musical genres from global headliners to local Nashville talent. The venue pays tribute to songwriter Harlan Howard, with its name inspired by his famous quote about country music being "three chords and the truth," and includes a whiskey bar named Harlan's and a two-story Vinyl Room listening lounge. Located on Chestnut Street, The Truth will be part of the mixed-use Wedgewood Village development and is intended to reflect Nashville’s creative culture and heritage while providing a modern stage for artists and fans. Live Nation has also pledged multi-year support for the Nashville Songwriters Association International and the W.O. Smith Music School, underscoring its commitment to the local music community. The venue is projected to generate significant economic impact, supporting hundreds of jobs and contributing substantial tax revenue to the city.
