Raiders Training Camp Returns to California

The Las Vegas Raiders have returned to Southern California for training camp but are unable to promote their presence due to NFL territorial marketing rights held by the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers. This policy prevents the Raiders from advertising locally or inviting local media and fans, although select VIPs and Las Vegas media are allowed. The training camp, held in Costa Mesa, marks the first time the Raiders have trained in California since moving to Las Vegas in 2020. Despite the restrictions, owner Mark Davis and head coach Antonio Pierce see value in the move, emphasizing team bonding and more favorable weather conditions compared to Nevada. Meanwhile, the team placed three players, including notable guard Jackson Powers-Johnson, on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list as they begin their training sessions.
