Three Men Arrested in Ingham County Online Child Sex Sting

Three men from Michigan were arrested in an undercover sting operation conducted by the Ingham County Sheriff's Office and multiple law enforcement agencies, involving officers posing as a 15-year-old girl online. Gregory Leroy Jordan III, Syed Muhammed Zaid Alvi, and Kalil Davonte Brown engaged in extensive online communication and arranged to meet the decoy for sexual purposes but were apprehended upon arrival without incident. They face serious felony charges including child sexual abusive activity, using a computer to commit a crime, and accosting children for immoral purposes, with bonds set at $75,000 for Jordan and Brown and $1 million for Alvi. The operation was a coordinated effort involving the Lansing Police Department, Michigan State Police, Eaton County Sheriff's Office, and the Genesee County Sheriff's Office Global Human Oppression Strike Team (GHOST). The suspects were arraigned in the 55th District Court shortly after their arrests.
