The affected products were sold between April 28 and May 30, 2025, at nine Kilwins retail stores across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Virginia, either from chocolate display cases or packaged under various assortment sizes. The recall was initiated after it was discovered that these truffles containing pecans were distributed with packaging that failed to list pecans as an ingredient, which is a violation of FDA labeling requirements. No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported so far in connection with this recall.
