Sterling Sharpe, Mike Holmgren Finalists for Hall of Fame

Sterling Sharpe and Mike Holmgren have advanced to the final voting stage for the 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame class. Sharpe is among three finalists in the Seniors category, while Holmgren is the sole finalist in the coaching category. The selection committee will vote on these candidates in January, with an 80% approval threshold needed for induction. If no candidate achieves this, the leading vote-getter will be inducted. The five finalists include Ralph Hay in the contributor category, and other senior finalists Maxie Baughan and Jim Tyrer. The announcement of the 2025 inductees will occur during Super Bowl week in New Orleans in February.
