Izaiyah Nelson led the Red Wolves with an impressive 23 points, going 10-for-10 in field goals, marking a notable achievement in the Sun Belt Conference. This win follows another strong performance against Southern Miss, where A-State overcame a halftime deficit with a 19-0 run to finish with an 81-68 victory. The Red Wolves have displayed significant improvement, boasting a 27-8 record over their last 35 games, the best in program history. Coach Finch's Timberwolves also found success in the NBA, securing a 121-113 win over the Suns, thanks to a pivotal fourth-quarter run. This run was spearheaded by Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who contributed significantly off the bench.
