Carlos Santana, the legendary guitarist, has postponed his Las Vegas residency due to an accidental fall at his vacation home in Hawaii, resulting in a broken pinkie finger on his left hand. This injury requires pins to be inserted, sidelining him from performing for approximately six weeks, although doctors expect a full recovery. His residency at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, originally scheduled from January 22 to February 2, will be rescheduled, and tickets for the postponed shows will be honored on new dates. Santana, 77, has expressed eagerness to return to the stage, ensuring fans that his health is the top priority. This incident adds to Santana's history of postponing performances due to health issues, including a back problem addressed last year. He is expected to resume performing in May, with additional tour dates in Phoenix, Nashville, and a European tour leg starting in June.
