Taylor's 153 Yards, 3 TDs Fuel Colts' 7-1 Start
The Indianapolis Colts beat the Tennessee Titans 38-14 in Week 8 to improve to 7-1 (5-0 at home). Jonathan Taylor rushed 12 times for 153 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown, and scored three total TDs while also catching a scoring pass. Taylor now leads the NFL with 850 rushing yards and 14 total touchdowns through eight games and has won consecutive FedEx Ground Player of the Week awards. His recent stretch has produced rare milestones — including multiple three-TD games and historic scrimmage-TD marks — prompted MVP discussion and made him a heavy favorite for Offensive Player of the Year. Daniel Jones completed 21 of 29 passes for 272 yards and three touchdowns (Michael Pittman Jr. had eight catches for 95 yards) as the Colts averaged over eight yards per play while the defense had four sacks and eight tackles for loss. Indianapolis now faces a tougher stretch, with the Pittsburgh Steelers next, and evaluators say Taylor’s ability to force lighter boxes is central to the team’s league-leading offense.
