Tony Chambers Named President of Disney EMEA

Tony Chambers has been appointed as the new President of The Walt Disney Company for EMEA, replacing Jan Koeppen, who is stepping down after six years. This transition is part of a broader restructuring aimed at unifying Disney's entertainment operations in the region, with several business lines now reporting directly to U.S. leaders. Chambers, a 30-year Disney veteran, previously led global theatrical distribution and is credited with driving significant box office successes during his tenure. He will oversee strategic priorities and financial operations in EMEA, coordinating local initiatives while excluding Disney Experiences. Koeppen expressed pride in his contributions to Disney, particularly in launching Disney+ in the region. Chambers is set to begin his new role in February 2024, with a new global head of theatrical distribution to be announced soon.
