Motorcyclists Killed in Tucson, Cincinnati, Peoria Crashes Identified
Three separate motorcycle accidents across the U.S. resulted in fatalities over the weekend. In Tucson, 60-year-old Raymond Gordon Brown, Jr. died after his motorcycle was struck by a Toyota Tundra following a sudden stop, possibly due to a dog stepping into the road. In Springfield Township, Matthew Ertel, 38, lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a utility pole, dying from his injuries; he was not wearing a helmet at the time. Meanwhile, in Peoria, 25-year-old Ian Harvey was killed when an unlicensed juvenile driver ran a stop sign and collided with his motorcycle, causing him to be struck by another vehicle. Harvey was wearing protective gear, including a helmet, and died instantly from multiple blunt-force trauma injuries. Investigations into all three incidents are ongoing, with local authorities examining factors contributing to each crash.
