Two Men Die in Separate Fatal Crashes North and South Yorkshire
Two fatal road traffic collisions occurred recently in Yorkshire, with police appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage to assist investigations. On July 9, a motorcyclist in his 40s died in a crash on the A59 near North Yorkshire involving a blue Vauxhall Mokka and a red Honda motorcycle; the car driver was hospitalized. Separately, on July 6 in Monk Bretton, Barnsley, a 49-year-old man died after his blue Audi RS5 left the road near the Long Causeway junction; no other vehicles were involved. South Yorkshire Police have launched an investigation and are urging anyone with information, dashcam, or CCTV footage to come forward. Families of both victims are receiving support from specially trained officers during these difficult times. Police requests for information include contacting them via phone or email, with specific incident references provided to aid the investigations.
