Harrow man sentenced for kidnapping, sexual assault of girl

Adam Baillie, a 39-year-old man from Harrow, has been sentenced to life in prison for kidnapping and sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl who was not known to him. The incident occurred on April 19, 2024, when Baillie abducted the girl as she was walking home from school and took her to his home, where he assaulted her. The victim managed to escape and, with the help of neighbours, contacted the police, leading to Baillie's arrest after she identified his property. At Harrow Crown Court, he was found guilty of kidnap and sexual assault, receiving a minimum term of 10 years.
