Russian drone production

The ongoing war in Ukraine has sparked significant drone production efforts from both sides. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine has ramped up its defense industry, claiming the capability to produce four million drones annually and already signing a contract for 1.5 million drones for the current year. Meanwhile, the Russian company ZALA Aero has reportedly manufactured nearly 5,000 drones for the Russian military, with Ukrainian authorities gathering evidence against its owner for crimes related to the war. Kyiv has also contributed 750 drones to its forces, emphasizing the importance of drone technology in the conflict. As Russian forces intensify their assault in eastern Ukraine, particularly around Vuhledar, the need for continued support and production of military equipment remains critical for Ukraine.
