Georgia Arrests Follow Multiple Serious Hit-and-Run Incidents
In three separate hit-and-run incidents across the U.S., suspects have been arrested following serious injuries and a fatality. In Chatham County, Georgia, Tara Denise Collins Greenway was arrested for a DUI hit-and-run accident involving an e-bicyclist who sustained serious injuries. In Tennessee, 78-year-old Louis Milton Boyatt from Dalton, Georgia, was charged with reckless aggravated vehicular assault and leaving the scene after hitting a woman and her daughter post a Tennessee football game; both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Boyatt was arrested and will be extradited to Tennessee. Meanwhile, in Tampa, Florida, Jeramey Sanders was charged with leaving the scene of a crash causing death after a fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian; police quickly identified and apprehended him based on vehicle evidence and surveillance footage. These cases highlight ongoing concerns about hit-and-run incidents and the swift law enforcement responses leading to suspect arrests.
