Polat Energy, Rolls-Royce Sign Largest Battery Deal in Turkey

Polat Energy has partnered with Rolls-Royce to establish Turkey's largest battery energy storage system, with a capacity of 132 megawatt-hours (MWh) at the Göktepe wind power plant in Yalova. This significant investment aims to enhance energy storage capabilities, allowing for the storage of excess renewable energy generated by wind and solar power, which can then be distributed during peak demand periods. Rolls-Royce's involvement highlights its commitment to sustainable energy solutions, supporting Türkiye's goals for energy independence and environmental sustainability.
