Texas, Florida Face Injury Challenges Ahead of Game

Ahead of their matchup on Saturday, both Texas Longhorns and Florida Gators have released their initial injury reports. Florida's freshman quarterback DJ Lagway is questionable after suffering a hamstring injury against Georgia, although head coach Billy Napier indicated the injury may be less severe than initially thought. In contrast, Texas is hopeful to have receiver Isaiah Bond, who has been dealing with an ankle injury, and safety Andrew Mukuba, who has a knee issue, back in the lineup. Bond is listed as probable while Mukuba remains questionable. Additionally, Florida will be without sophomore wideout Eugene Wilson III for the rest of the season due to a knee injury, which poses a significant challenge for the struggling Gators, currently at 4-4. The game will kick off at 11 a.m. CT in Austin, Texas.
