Mango Opens 50th US Store, Plans 65 by 2025
Spanish fashion retailer Mango has reached a significant milestone by opening its 50th company-owned store in the United States, located in Washington Square, Portland, Oregon. This new store, Mango's second in Portland, features the Woman line exclusively and showcases the brand's Mediterranean-inspired New Med retail concept that emphasizes sustainability and architectural integration. As part of its ambitious 4E 2024-2026 Strategic Plan, Mango aims to open over 20 additional U.S. stores in 2025, targeting around 65 locations nationwide by the end of the year, with plans to expand in states like Illinois and California. The U.S. market is among Mango's top five globally, and the company aspires for it to rank in the top three by revenue by 2026, supported by a goal to double its U.S. workforce to over 1,200 employees. Since entering the U.S. market in 2006 and launching a flagship store in New York in 2022, Mango has steadily expanded its footprint, recently entering new states including Nevada, New Mexico, Washington, and Oregon. Daniel López, Mango's Chief Expansion & Franchise Officer, emphasized that reaching this milestone reaffirms the company's deep commitment to its U.S. customers and its growth ambitions in the country.
