Adrian Newey Joins Aston Martin Racing

Newey, who has a storied history with Red Bull, where he contributed to 12 drivers' and 13 constructors' championships, decided to leave after nearly two decades amid internal power struggles at the team. His move was highly sought after by several teams, including Ferrari, but he ultimately chose Aston Martin, attracted by owner Lawrence Stroll's ambitious plans for the team and its new technical project aimed at the 2026 regulations. In addition to his role as Managing Technical Partner, Newey will also become a shareholder in the team.
