Kia Unveils 2026 EV9 Nightfall Edition SUV

Kia has unveiled the 2026 EV9 Nightfall Edition, a new trim of its three-row electric SUV, which combines a blackout aesthetic with a notable performance boost. Built on the Land AWD trim, it features gloss-black exterior accents, exclusive 20-inch black wheels, and a limited Roadrider Brown paint option, along with an all-black interior. The Nightfall Edition comes standard with a Boost function that increases torque from 443 to 516 pound-feet, enabling a 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds, a feature usually reserved for higher trims or as a paid upgrade. It will adopt the North American Charging Standard (NACS) for improved charging compatibility. Due to its U.S. assembly, the Nightfall Edition will be eligible for the $7,500 federal tax credit. Pricing has not yet been announced, but the vehicle is expected at dealerships in the second quarter of the year.
