China Accuses Australia of Racism and Hypocrisy

In response, China's foreign ministry highlighted Australia's domestic issues, including alleged systemic racism, treatment of Indigenous people, and war crimes abroad. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese defended the country's stance, asserting its right to stand up for its interests while maintaining diplomatic engagement with China.
