Czech ammunition to Ukraine

The Czech Republic will deliver an additional 100,000 rounds of ammunition to Ukraine in July and August as part of a broader initiative led by Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky. Currently, 18 countries are participating, with 15 having met their financial commitments, enabling the potential delivery of 500,000 rounds by year-end. Lipavsky noted that the initiative could supply up to 800,000 rounds this year if funding allows. The Czech Republic is also exploring international sources for ammunition and has begun joint production agreements and military training with Ukraine. Deliveries are expected to accelerate starting in September, reflecting ongoing international support for Ukraine amidst its conflict.
