Investigators confirmed an August 2025 sighting in the long‑running search for 9‑year‑old Melodee Buzzard after Lompoc Unified assisted detectives, and a 12‑year‑old in Sanpete County was located following coordinated multi‑agency searches and public tips. Other active searches include Laura Beth Spade (missing since March in Welch, W.Va.), 66‑year‑old Philip Barnett with dementia (Cincinnati), 18‑year‑old Jordyn Summer Bath (autistic, Ingham County, Mich.), 17‑year‑old Aoki Cleaves (North St. Paul), and 16‑ or 17‑year‑old Grace Weirback (Bradford County, Pa.).
