Following the devastating impact of Typhoon Yagi, Singapore and India have mobilized humanitarian aid to affected regions in Southeast Asia. The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) are delivering supplies such as blankets, hygiene kits, and meal packs to Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam. Concurrently, India launched 'Operation Sadbhav,' dispatching over 55 tonnes of aid including dry rations, water purification items, and medical supplies to the same countries. The typhoon, Asia's most powerful storm this year, has resulted in significant loss of life and widespread flooding. Both nations are working with NGOs and utilizing military resources to ensure timely delivery of aid. This coordinated effort underscores their commitment to regional humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
