Uber Nebius Commit Up to $375M to Scale Avride Autonomous Fleet, Launch Dallas Robotaxi 2025

Avride, a developer of autonomous vehicles and delivery robots, has secured up to $375 million in strategic investments and commercial commitments from Uber Technologies and Nebius Group to scale its autonomous vehicle fleet and expand its market presence. This funding builds on an existing multi-year partnership with Uber, with plans to launch Avride's robotaxi service on Uber's platform in Dallas by the end of 2025. Avride's delivery robots are currently operating on the Uber Eats platform in cities including Jersey City, Austin, and Dallas, fulfilling orders for hundreds of restaurants. The investment will support fleet growth, AI-driven product development, and geographic expansion, while Uber's convertible note investment gives it the option to convert into equity later. Nebius Group, headquartered in Amsterdam and focused on AI infrastructure, has seen significant financial growth alongside its investment in Avride.
