Shanica Merced, 35, has been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and illegal gambling in connection with a March incident at an illegal gambling club in Bridgeport, Connecticut, that left two men, Tayvon Geter and Richard Davis, dead. Both men were killed during a shootout that occurred while they were attempting to rob the club's gamblers at gunpoint. Surveillance footage revealed Merced allowing the armed men into the club and sitting with them before the robbery. Marcus Farmer, another individual involved in running the club, and Sean Ellam, who stole a gun from one of the deceased suspects, have also been arrested and face various charges. The investigation is ongoing, led by the Bridgeport Police Department’s Homicide Unit.
