Swansea Man Charged With Murder After Pub Assault Death

A man named Steven Vonks, aged 50 or 51, has been charged with murder following the death of a 65-year-old man who was found unconscious outside The Mill pub on Brynymor Road in Swansea. The assault occurred around 8:15pm on Friday, July 25, and the victim was taken to Morriston Hospital, where he died two days later on Sunday, July 27. Steven Vonks appeared at Swansea Magistrates’ Court and is expected to appear at Swansea Crown Court.
