Andy Murray Wins First Golf Trophy

Andy Murray has won his first golfing trophy at the inaugural British Tennis Journalists’ Association's (BTJA) Mike Dickson Golf Day, marking a new chapter in his sporting career following his retirement from tennis after the 2024 Olympics. The event, held at Hanbury Manor, was organized in memory of the late tennis journalist Mike Dickson, who had a significant impact on Murray's career. Murray, now focusing on golf, aims to achieve a scratch handicap, currently playing off a seven. He has been receiving lessons from Scottish golfer Bob MacIntyre, world No.16, who praises Murray's rapid progress and golfing skills. Aside from golf, Murray is enjoying retirement by spending time with his family and managing his business ventures, including plans to expand his luxury hotel, Cromlix House, with a new restaurant.
