Noel Edmonds Disputes ITV's Kiwi Adventure Axing

ITV has canceled Noel Edmonds’ Kiwi Adventure after just one series, despite initial hopes for a longer run. The show, which followed Edmonds and his wife Liz as they renovated their River Haven estate in New Zealand and pursued sustainable living, failed to meet ITV's ratings expectations, averaging 1.1–1.5 million viewers per episode. While ITV states there are no plans for further episodes, sources close to Edmonds cite extreme weather and flooding at the estate as key factors making continued production unfeasible. Edmonds has publicly challenged the view that the show's cancellation was imposed by ITV, saying he had already decided not to allow additional filming. Despite positive feedback and some critical praise, the series did not break into the top 50 most-watched programs during its run. The cancellation represents another setback for Edmonds’ efforts at a major TV comeback.
