Invictus Games 2025 Medals Unveiled for Competitors

As the 2025 Invictus Games approach, organizers have unveiled the medals designed by four First Nations artists to be awarded to wounded, injured, and sick service members from 23 nations. The medals symbolize unity, courage, and victory, reflecting the spirit of resilience and healing celebrated through the Games. Levi Nelson, a Lil'wat artist, expressed hope that the medals will remind people of the beauty of connection and the significance of the moment. Prince Harry emphasized that the Games honor the extraordinary strength of competitors and their families, stating that for many, reaching the start line is a victory in itself. The event will include 462 medals presented at 167 ceremonies over nine days, showcasing the artistic contributions from the host First Nations. The Games are set to kick off with an opening ceremony on February 8, 2025.
