LCD Soundsystem Plans 12-Night NYC Residency at Knockdown Center

LCD Soundsystem will return to New York City for their fifth annual residency with 12 shows at the Knockdown Center in Queens across three weekends from November 20 to December 13, 2025. This marks their second consecutive year performing exclusively at the Knockdown Center, where they will feature live openers, nightly afterparties with special guest DJs, a DFA Records swap meet, and a pop-up of frontman James Murphy's Michelin-starred Four Horsemen wine bar. Tickets go on sale to the public on September 19 with pre-sales starting September 16. The band, led by Murphy, also released the single "X-Ray Eyes" in 2024 and is reportedly working on their fifth studio album, although no release date has been announced. Alongside their New York residency, LCD Soundsystem will perform at several festivals and venues including See.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park, the Portola Music Festival in San Francisco, two shows at the Hollywood Bowl with Pulp, and a New Year's run in Aspen. The residency continues a tradition of immersive and interactive experiences for fans, reflecting the band's strong connection to New York's music scene.
