A suspect has been arrested in connection with the brutal attack on Efrain 'Frankie' Zarazua, a longtime valet at Barney's Beanery in West Hollywood, who was left with critical injuries following the incident on September 14. The suspect, Dorian Michael Gray, was apprehended without bail and faces charges including attempted murder, battery, and assault with a deadly weapon. Surveillance footage showed the suspect violently attacking Zarazua, who has served at the restaurant for over 30 years, by knocking him unconscious and repeatedly kicking him. Authorities believe Gray may have committed at least four other assaults in the same area that evening. Zarazua, who suffered significant head, neck, and body injuries, is recovering at home but requires ongoing rehabilitation and care due to a brain injury.
