Gordon Ramsay reveals dining struggles at own posh restaurants

Gordon Ramsay has revealed that he has only dined at his own Michelin-starred restaurant twice in 25 years, finding the experience 'too posh' and 'intimidating' for his personal taste. He explained that while he enjoys running his restaurants, he doesn't feel comfortable indulging in the high-end dining experience as a guest, preferring to be a 'giver' rather than a 'receiver.' Ramsay also shared that at home he tends to cook elaborate, Michelin-level meals for his family—even for his young son—much to the frustration of his wife, who prefers simpler dishes. He has emphasized the importance of hard work and self-sufficiency to his children, declining to leave them his fortune outright and encouraging them to forge their own paths. Despite his success, Ramsay attributes his drive and values to his challenging upbringing and has no plans to slow down his career.
