Three Grenada Teens Arrested for Murder of High School Football Player

Three juveniles have been arrested in connection with the death of 16-year-old Ayden Reno, a Grenada High School football player, who was found dead from a gunshot wound in the 700 block of Leigh Avenue following reports of shots fired. A fourth individual was also detained, with three suspects charged with murder while charges for the fourth have not been disclosed. The Grenada Police Department, along with other local agencies, continues to investigate the case and is seeking community assistance for additional information. Ayden Reno was a junior and a member of the football team and show choir, with funeral services scheduled for early October. Separately, in Rapides Parish, Louisiana, multiple juveniles have been arrested following social media threats targeting several high schools, leading to the cancellation of homecoming events, highlighting ongoing concerns over youth-related violence and school safety in the region.
