Purdue Adds Key Transfers, Including QB Browne

Purdue football has secured multiple key transfers ahead of the 2025 season, including quarterback Ryan Browne, who returns after a stint at North Carolina and brings valuable experience. The team has strengthened its offensive line by adding Bradyn Joiner, a former Auburn All-SEC freshman, and Jude McCoskey, who played at Indiana State and Tulane. Wide receiver Corey Smith joins from Tulsa, becoming the sixth receiver to transfer in this offseason. Defensively, former Memphis defensive back Chalil Cummings will add depth to the secondary. These additions address recent depth concerns caused by player departures. Head coach Barry Odom is leading an aggressive portal recruiting effort to rebuild and fortify the roster.
