D'Andra Simmons, 56, a former star of The Real Housewives of Dallas, revealed on social media that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent three surgical procedures at the UTSW Simmons Cancer Center in Dallas, a facility her uncle Harold Simmons and his foundation established nearly 30 years ago. Simmons shared her journey publicly, describing the first procedure as seed localization to mark the tumor, followed by lymph node mapping, and culminating in tumor removal surgery, all completed in one day. She expressed gratitude for the skilled medical team and noted she is the third woman on her mother's side of the family diagnosed with breast cancer.
