Giant Panda Cub Celebrates First Month Milestone

Panda cubs born to Meng Meng at Chimelong Safari Park in Guangzhou, China, celebrated their one-month birthdays, with one cub growing from 178 grams to 1,280 grams and undergoing physical checks. The female cub has developed a black-and-white coat, high energy levels, and strong limbs, with interactions with her mother improving. In a separate event, the Chattanooga Zoo welcomed its first red panda cub in eight years, named Pilatus, as part of conservation efforts to boost the population of the endangered species.
