Man United Complete Bryan Mbeumo Signing
Manchester United have signed Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford for an initial £65 million, potentially rising to £71 million with add-ons, after intense competition from several Premier League clubs. Mbeumo, who netted 20 league goals last season, has agreed to a five-year contract with an option for an extra year and will earn £200,000 per week. Brentford had urged Mbeumo to consider other offers and reduce his wage demands, but he insisted on joining United, describing it as 'the club of his dreams.' United director Jason Wilcox cited Mbeumo's consistency and attacking prowess as key reasons for the move. Mbeumo will wear the number 19, joining new signings Matheus Cunha and Diego León as part of manager Ruben Amorim's squad rebuild. The club prioritized finalizing the deal ahead of the pre-season tour in the United States after a disappointing previous campaign.
