TBT 2025 Sets Multi-Regional Alumni Brackets, July 18-23

The 2025 edition of The Basketball Tournament (TBT), a $1 million winner-take-all summer basketball event broadcast on FOX Sports, is set to take place from mid-July through early August across multiple regional sites. Valparaiso alumni team Shield 219 will compete as the sixth seed in the Indianapolis Regional at Hinkle Fieldhouse starting July 19, facing Butler alumni's All Good Dawgs in their opener. The Indianapolis Regional also features Assembly Ball, an Indiana alumni team seeded second, which will open against Fail Harder; the top seed there is Carmen's Crew, composed of Ohio State alumni. Louisville alumni team The Ville, led by Luke Hancock, will host the Louisville Regional at Freedom Hall as the top seed, with games running from July 19 to 23 and sponsorship from Mr. & Mrs. Bourbon. Ohio University alumni debut as Court Street Kings in the West Virginia Regional at Charleston Coliseum, seeded fourth, opening against The Nawf, with the top seed being Elite Nation. Kentucky alumni team La Familia returns as the top seed in the Lexington Regional, which will be held at the newly renovated Historic Memorial Coliseum, marking another key site in the tournament's nationwide competition.
