Multiple U.S. High Schools Face Lockdowns

Multiple high schools across the United States faced lockdowns due to various threats and incidents. In Melbourne, Florida, Palm Bay High School was locked down after a student stabbed another with scissors, leading to one student's arrest. Both involved students were hospitalized in stable condition. The school, located at Babcock Street and Pirate Lane, saw a heavy police presence and resumed normal dismissal protocols once the situation was under control. Other schools affected include Birmingham Community Charter High School and High Tech Los Angeles Charter High School in the San Fernando Valley, Huntington Middle School in West Virginia, Savannah's Groves High School, and San Benito High School in California.
